Overview of alliance

Zhoushan Maritime Services Alliance (Zhoushan Maritime Services Alliance, brand abbreviation: ZMSA) is initiated by Huayang Maritime Centre Co., Ltd. with technical support from Dalian Yinghai Technology Co., Ltd. and currently operated by Zhoushan Xingshunhang Maritime Technical Services Co., Ltd. "Zhoushan" in the name is only a geographic reference — the platform is headquartered in Zhoushan and the Yangtze River Delta, and is open to maritime service companies across China and around the world.

The maritime value chain is deeply interconnected — coordinated development is the only way to move steadily and far. In the traditional model, upstream-downstream communication is hindered, Chinese companies find it hard to go global, foreign companies find it hard to land in China, and domestic and international markets remain insufficiently integrated. ZMSA was created to break these industry bottlenecks and seize the opportunities of digital transformation — rooted in the Yangtze River Delta, anchored in Zhoushan and open to the world, leveraging Free Trade Zone policy advantages to integrate the full value chain, bridge supply and demand, and unlock international cooperation for the high-quality development of the maritime economy.

ZMSA's founding membership exceeds 100 companies, spanning shipowners, ship managers, ship repair & building, maritime equipment, marine supply & spare parts, shipping finance & insurance, maritime technology, ship trading and maritime advisory — forming a complete industry ecosystem. Foreign enterprises account for over 40%, with cooperation networks across Hong Kong, Singapore, Greece and Türkiye; domestic members span Shanghai, Tianjin, Qingdao, Guangzhou and Zhoushan, with around 50% engaged in ship repair & building. ZMSA is a trusted venue for cross-border, upstream-downstream enterprises to engage and grow together.

Membership offers visibility in the Chinese maritime market, promotion of products and services, participation in industry events and exchanges, long-term relationships with key value-chain stakeholders, and access to market intelligence, industry developments and policy updates relevant to doing business in China. At this stage all platform fees are waived to lower the barrier to entry, so members and ZMSA can grow the blue economy together.
